The story

Why any of this exists.

Most nights fail the same way. The venue carries the risk and gets a quiet week. The DJ takes the slot for exposure and plays somebody else's records. The crowd pays full price to stand in a room that got the music wrong. Everyone involved is doing their best, and the night still does not work.

Uroboro started in Milan, 2023 to fix the chain rather than one link of it. The thinking was narrow on purpose: a night only works when three things land together.

The selection One sound, held all night. Chosen before anything else.
The room A venue with character, not whichever space was free.
The people The energy nobody can book. It comes from who is in it.

Get those three wrong and no budget saves the night. Get them right and the room does the rest. That is the standard. The rest is who it is for.

A crowd looked after rather than sold to, with free entry windows and guest list on every night we run. Venues handed a night run properly, the concept, the music, the content and the promotion behind it, so a dead Monday becomes something people plan around. DJs given real rooms and paid slots to play what they actually play, which is the thing nobody offers early and the reason most good ones stop.

Giovanni Pasi built it and runs it. Riccardo Negretti gave it a face. In Sydney, Carmelo Corsaro took on the part that decides whether a night is any good: who plays, and what it sounds like. Promoters came next, bringing their own crowds and getting paid properly for it.

A few parties in Milan now run across Sydney's best rooms, with a crowd that turns up for the name before it knows the line-up. Uroboro was never about putting on more events. It is about making the good ones possible, in more rooms, for more people.
